Hey guys!! How are you? This last week was seriously crazy. I've been sick and so I'm going to the doctor. But we had a lot of miracles happen. First off it rained! A thunderstorm came through. We were able to talk to this lady about prayer and how god speaks. I told her I feel love thunder because it reminds me of god. You can just feel the power behind it. As we were talking the storm went right above us and set off 3 car alarms. She looked at me and said "there's god speaking to ya!" It was kind of a joke but not really. I really thought about It and god does speak. He is alive! He talks to every one of us in different ways. I challenge all of you to learn how he speaks to you and then listen. You'll be surprised what he may have to say to you. I love my heavenly father. He is amazing. He has blessed me so much. I grow every day because of Him. Another really cool miracle happened. Bob is someone we found along with his wife. Bob is dying. His heart is failing. But his wife was baptized and an active member for a few years before she died. Bob saw the light in her and her home teachers. Now he believes the only reason he's here is to get baptized and fallow his wife. Tammy his daughter is also ready to take steps. She just got out of jail and is ready to change her life. She takes care of Bob and has been for a while. The love she has for her father is palpable. It's so sweet. I respect them very much. Bob's wife has been there every time we go over to their house to teach them. She is there prompting and motivating them to accept the Gospel. Tammy and Bob both say they feel her every time we come. I think it's the spirit they are feeling but it could also be her as well. Please pray for them. Especially for Bob's health. He has to last a couple more weeks so he can get baptized. I have no doubt that after he is baptized God will take him and he will be with his dear wife. Thank you for al you do for me everyone! You are all so awesome! Stay that way!

Comets and Stuff 10-8-18
Hello!!! So this week has been pretty great. Last night we saw a comet in the sky we think. It looked like Jesus was coming again. It was nuts. We got a picture from some other sisters after it had ran into something in the sky and blew up. It was great.
Conference was awesome was it not!!?? I loved it! What a blessing it is to have president Nelson as our prophet today! Wow he is so cute. His words are true. I know if we put to practice the new family oriented plans we will be protected and armed from the adversaries attacks. He is intensifying his armies and his tactics. But we need not fear If we follow the prophet and the teachings of the scriptures.
We are working with a man named Bob and his daughter Tammy. They are awesome. Bob has congenitive heart failure. So he's been in the hospital for a while. We went to visit him 2 days after he got out and the Lord blessed him and us to teach him and Tammy the restoration. We were able to resight the 1st vision to them and it was incredibly powerful. The noise of the world and distractions were muted as the spirit poured into the room and penetrated our hearts. I know the prophet Joseph smith saw our God and our Savior. What a blessing it is to live today! The restored gospel is on the earth and we have opportunity to be apart of it. I love you all! Keep keepin on. Pray, read, and love!

Goodbye Placentia 10-1-18
Hello guys!! Today is very busy for me so this won't be too long! I'm transferring areas today and tomorrow I'll pick up my new companion fresh off the plain! Idk who she is yet but I'm excited to meet her! I will be teaching her for the next 3 months! The new area we will be in is called Yorba linda. It's up in Anaheim hills. I hear the ward I'm going to is pretty cool so I'm excited.
I just want to bare my testimony that I know the gospel of Jesus Christ it the one an only true church here on the earth. We are comprised of a spirit and a body created by supreme beings, our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. They love us! I've really come to know this!
This week we haven't had too much happen except knocking on a dozens of doors and street contacting! It's hard but very fulfilling. My knuckles we swollen after one day of knocking for 8 hours straight! Hahaha it was nuts! I couldnt believe that would actually happen but it did. Maybe i just knock to hard. But a few things came out of our efforts. We found a girl named Maggie and she's so sweet and has a pretty solid idea of her purpose and the light of christ shines very brightly from her. We will meet with here again today. We also we able to receive a bunch of referrals. 4 in one week! I couldn't believe it! I haven't experience one referral on the mission until my last week in Placentia. It was crazy. So far we have only been able to contact 1 of them. The others we are still trying to find. Hopefully this week my new companion and I will start building a teaching pool! I'm excited to see what adventures await! I love you all! Let me know how you are doing!

Find your Sycamore Tree 9-24-18
Hello my beautiful family and freinds! How are you all? This last week has been a crazy week! Some crazy things happened. We lost contact with pretty much everyone we were teaching. So that was pretty hard. Ricky disappeared. We can't get a hold of him in any way so we have been praying a lot that we will find him at the park some time again. It's been three weeks since we have talked to him so we'll see what happens. This last week we all got sick in some way or another and had to spend a lot of time in. So that was pretty hard. But this week looks like we have plenty of hours to go finding! Which is going to be super great! Hopefully we can build our teaching pool. So we had stake conference this Sunday and an area 70 came to speak. He shared the story of Zacchaeus. In chapter 19. So pretty much what happens is Jesus is traveling through Jerico. And all the people are gathering to see the savior of the world. Well this man name Zacchaeus really wants to see him. Zacchaeus is a chief among the publicans and very wealthy. But he was "small in stature" haha like me! He was to short to see over the crowds of people gathered to see Jesus. So he ran further down this road mapping out where the savior might go next and he climbed up a sycomore tree. Vs 4 "And he ran before, and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see him for he ( Jesus) was to pass that way." And when Jesus walked passed he looked up and saw this man watching him from the tree! Haha I can really relate to this guy because I would need a tree too!
So Jesus called to him and told him pretty much to come down and "for today I must abide at thy house" Jesus says to him.
So zacchaeus got down and "received him joyfully".
What a great example this story sets up for us. Do we have our personal sycamore tree to climb so we can look passed the things of this world that crowed around the truth and make it hard to see and know our savior? How are we rising above all of that so we can take him in and receive him joyfully in our homes and in our hearts. What a beautiful opportunity we have to come to know our savior every day and let him be a part of our lives!
I know this gospel is true. It's the only way to salvation and true and everlasting happiness.
I love you all! Have a great week!

Don't count the days make the days count 9-17-18
Ok so I learned this saying from a sister In the mission. And how true it is. When we wake up in the morning and decide to make the day count (aka dedicating it to the lord) we are truly happy! Last week was a little rough. We had a great mission conference and got to attend the temple. It was amazing. I felt so at peace there and could tell I was surrounded by angels from beyond the veil. After all these good experiences I hit a weird low point. Many passed problems began to haunt me and I felt down. I talked with my president and he gave me some good council. Of course to put my faith and trust in the lord. Let him carry the load i am carrying and move forward. But I also took the saying make every day count so literally. As I wake up i think to myself what I am going to do for the lord today. Am I going to speak to everyone I see? Am i going to knock on as many doors as I can? Will I serve my companions? All of those things. Even though we hardly get people to listen I can still show the lord every day that I'm making 6:30am to 9:00pm count. Make the days count and you will find joy in every step you take! I love you all! Have a good week!

Sitting at the feet of God 9-11-18
Hello family and friends! Sorry it's been a while since I've emailed! It's been really busy here in Placentia. So much has happened. We had a mission conference yesterday and one of the 70 came to talk to us. It was amazing. He laid out a foundation before he began really giving us his two sense about missionary work. The foundation was about our relationship with our Father in Heaven. How beautiful it is! Our relationship is so individual with Him. We leanred from him on such a personal intimate level. And we are his chosen to come to earth right now and be apart of the gathering of Israel! These are the last days my friends. We have a purpose here! I know it. My testimony has grown so much in that I know my father in heaven knows me and I know him. When I enter into his presence someday I know I will recognize him and he will be more familiar to me then i could ever imagine. This is true for all of us. So choose him!
These last couple of weeks have been busy. We are teaching a man named Ricky. He is awesome and super ready to hear the gospel. We are also working with a lady named sarla. She has some scary family problems and so we are trying to figure out a way to teach her. But she as well is super ready. I love you all! I am praying for You! Have a great week.
